Milan Vargan is a vice-president of the Slovak Chamber of the Tax Advisors. He is a licensed tax advisor having more than 14year experience in a tax consulting in the area of national and international tax. Milan is in a position of a chairman of the VAT Legislation Committee in the Slovak Chamber of the Tax Advisors from 2008. He is a member of the VAT Committee responsible for clarifying of the Slovak VAT Act (nominated by a minister of finance) from 2007.
Milan has started his career at the Slovak tax authority in 1992 where he worked on corporate income tax department. In 1993 he joined the Slovak Telecom. He was leading a tax department there when he was joining KPMG in 1997. In 1999, he joined Deloitte and helped building the VAT practice.
He was specialized in the fields of energy, FSI, real-estate and production. Milan was involved in Mergers & Acquisitions and Tax Due Diligence projects.
He is publishing articles and he is an experienced lecturer.
